At Desert Coral Ranch, we ensure that all corals shipped are healthy. However, in the rare event of a Dead on Arrival (DOA) situation, please follow these steps to report the issue:

1    Take clear photos of the package, including all sides, and the deceased coral still in its original packaging.

2    Email the pictures to admin@desertcoralranch.com within 2 hours of the confirmed delivery time (UPS/FedEx).

We may request that you ship back the deceased coral, so please do not dispose of it. Once we receive the required photos and the coral (if applicable), we will issue store credit toward future purchases of available inventory. Refunds are not issued; store credit only.

DISCLAIMER:

For local pickup orders, all sales are final, and we cannot offer store credit, refunds, returns, or exchanges for DOA claims.

Any missing or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to be considered.

Store credit is issued for qualifying corals only. Refunds or direct replacements are not provided. The credit can be used on any current inventory.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Desert Coral Ranch reserves the right to void the DOA Guarantee if:

    •    The coral is discarded before verification.

    •    The coral is not shown in its original packaging in the photos.

    •    We are not contacted within the 2-hour reporting window.

    •    The package is refused, or no one is available to receive the delivery.

    •    The package was not picked up in a timely manner from the delivery location.

Additionally, Desert Coral Ranch cannot be held responsible for:

    •    Incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

    •    Improper coral acclimation or care (e.g., lighting, water flow, water conditions, temperature, or coral interactions).

    •    Any issues, damages, or disruptions to your personal fish tank system. We provide corals to the best of industry standards, but once they are delivered, tank conditions and care are the customer’s responsibility.

If your shipment is delayed, damaged, or leaking, it must still be accepted. Do not refuse delivery or return the shipment, as the process of packing and shipping live coral is complex. Returns are not accepted under any circumstances.
